INCOMING: Beneath the Bothnian Sea

What species live in a bladderwrack meadow or a jungle of vascular plants? What kind of habitat is a hard rocky seabed or a shallow bay with a soft bottom? In this exhibition, you can step beneath the surface and discover fascinating creatures.

The Under the Surface of the Bothnian Sea exhibition introduces species found in the Bothnian Sea, the communities they form, and the habitats they live in. Videos and images guide you into the underwater world. You’ll also get a glimpse into the life of a research diver and find tips for exploring aquatic life on your own.
